Successful partial denture fabrication involves a complex interplay of factors. The consultation allows Richard & Evan to evaluate the anatomical, physiological and patient specific oral health and prognosis of existing teeth. Acrylic, resin, cobalt chrome, titanium and thermoplastic nylon choices each offer unique characteristics and have suitability for specific clinical applications. We work with the patient to ensure they are 100% involved in the denture crafting process.

Bite Splints
The medical term for teeth grinding is bruxism, a condition in which you squeeze or rub your teeth together, also called clenching. We have manufactured splints, on referral, for 1000's of patients suffering from this dental condition. Australian legislation mandates that splint fabrication must be on referral from a Dentist as part of a comprehensive dental treatment plan. For our patient's who exhibit symptoms of bruxism, we are happy to refer to ethical Dentists for diagnosis.

Occasionally a patient requests a denture so lifelike it takes exceptional effort to fabricate. Richard & Evan has developed a unique system involving use of various teeth moulds, shapes, forms and subtle stains to mimic reality. Gum contour and shade tinting allows for a truly individual appearance. Premium quality, hand-crafted acrylics, strengthened. We dedicate time to manually adjust teeth real-time with the patient unhurriedly providing feedback. The dentures are only processed once the patient is 100% happy with the new smile.

Immediate denture treatment involves fitting of a provisional prosthesis following extraction of natural teeth. It is an emotional and challenging journey for the patient, requiring high levels of clinician engagement. Treatment cycles vary wildly between individuals, being based on factors ranging from number of teeth being removed, to physiology and medical status, and so many more.
